Ep. 07: Dissent: Why it's important to question the government!

On an all new episode of Uncle, Please Sit, former journalists and current comedy writers Joel Pereira and Tushar Abhichandani are asking politely, through gritted teeth, UNCLE, PLEASE SIT.

With the government receiving some criticism for their handling of the Covid -19 pandemic, and some state governments (cough UP cough) clamping down and intimidating sections of the media, Tushar and Joel talk about dissent in the time of pandemics. The uncle opinion is off course, "dissent is good and all, but is this the time to criticize the government?" The answer to that question is yes. Dissent is what keeps the citizen informed, breaks through the propaganda and fake news, and keeps the government on its toes. Click through to hear more.
