Sam struggles with the ownership of Captain America’s shield, passed to him by Steve Rogers,  it simply feels like it belongs to someone else as he returns it to the Smithsonian Museum to put on display. While, Bucky, in therapy as a condition of his pardon, struggles to lead a “normal” life as he is haunted by his actions as the Winter Soldier. As the Falcon, Sam continues working missions for the Air Force to combat newly emerging terrorist threats with intel Officer Torres, while back in America he is engaged trying to save the family shrimp fishing business and help his sister Sarah. In New York Bucky is trying to find some daily rhythm to his life working through his list to make up for his past mistakes as the infamous Hydra agent Winter Soldier as he befriends an old man named Yori grieving for his dead son and settles a score with Senator Atwood. Meanwhile, in Switzerland, First Lieutenant Torres infiltrates an operation by an emerging terrorist organisation called the Flag Smashers, just as the US Government reveals a new Captain America to bring hope to the world.
