Shen Ming Lee is an author, former entrepreneur and activist passionate about agri-food tech and social impact. She is the author of "Hungry For Disruption: How Tech Innovations Will Nourish 10 Billion By 2050" (Amazon #1 New Release), which provides a futuristic vision for embracing the technological and scientific advances in food for the coming decades. Shen is currently the co-founder & co-organizer of the Cornell Future Food Summit, a first-of-its-kind summit and platform aiming to empower and connect food fighters for a better food future. Previously, she was an Associate at global innovation engine Thought For Food (TFF), where she helped build out TFF's partner ecosystem in the US and ASEAN regions. She previously founded Fresco Foods (a social food venture at Cornell) and Fresco Supper Club (a social-impact driven restaurant in Singapore). Through her work, Shen empowers and supports agri-food innovators, tackles pressing food issues, and advocates for tech innovations in a better food future. A lover of all things gastronomy, Shen is a soon-to-be graduate at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. She grew up in Malaysia and previously lived in Singapore. In her free time, she loves to cook, go to farmer's markets, box, spin and watch Suits and Chef's Table.
