Mike Florio thinks Watt could be sending bigger message

Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike said we are all stuck waiting on Aaron Rodgers and there’s no new development. Mike said the situation in New Orleans with Derek Carr is interesting to note. Mike reminded us that the Vikings door still isn’t fully closed on Rodgers. Mike questioned if the Steelers would say NO to Rodgers at any point this offseason, even if it’s training camp. Mike doesn’t think it’s impossible to have Shedeur Sanders at the same time as Rodgers, but referenced the coin flip it is to draft a QB in their draft slot. Mike thinks after the Saints, the Seahawks may be the only team that has interest in Sanders. Mike does not see Mason Rudolph going into the season as the starter if the goal is to win a playoff game or more. The guys asked Mike if the TJ Watt Instagram post means anything significant and if it means more than his contract price. Mike talked about long ago when the Steelers used to have a revolving door at edge rusher, but it kept working. Mike said the trade market for Watt depends on how the 1st round goes for needy teams.
