Mike Florio on the draft & schedule

Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike said he’d be surprised if Aaron Rodgers made his announcement tonight about joining the Steelers because he wouldn’t want to do it in a setting where it’s becoming so expected. He also isn’t sold that Rodgers’ decision is 100% made up and still thinks the Vikings are a real possibility. Mike thinks the Steelers should be considerate if Shedeur Sanders falls to them at 21. Jalen Milroe getting the invite to the draft raised some eyebrows – could the Steelers be a team that makes that call in the 1st round? Mike thinks Jaxson Dart is ‘absolutely’ a possibility at 21st overall. Mike talked about the over-drafting of QBs and how it happens every single year because it’s a lottery ticket effect. The guys asked Mike about the awkwardness that could be created if the team drafts a QB early while waiting for Rodgers. Mike suspected that Andy Reid would be one of the only other coaches around the league that could combat the personality of George Pickens, if the Steelers look to make a trade.
