Jon Ledyard on what Steelers should do at 21

Audibles & Analytics podcast host Jon Ledyard joined the show. The guys had a few Shedeur Sanders questions off the bat and if he is as good or as bad as some draft experts see him. Jon said Sanders will only be as good as the structure around him, like a Brock Purdy in San Francisco at his best. Jon doesn’t think Sanders has a special arm. Jon would not take a QB in the 1st round of this draft, citing the bad track record of that position in that spot of the draft along with the Steelers recent history there. Jon likes Will Howard in the middle rounds as someone to take a chance on. Jon thinks Jahdae Barron should be on the Steelers radar in the 1st round – a player that provides defensive versatility.
