HOUR 3 - Shedeur visits Steelers, Steve Palazzolo, Debrief

Shedeur Sanders has wrapped up his visit with the Steelers. He is now Poni’s preferred pick in 2 weeks. But he wants them to groom the kid to start from Day 1, which doesn’t happen with Aaron Rodgers in the fold. How does that relationship work if it comes together? That being said, there are a lot of reasons to be skeptical of this working out. Steve Palazzolo from the 33rd Team joined the show. Steve reiterated that he would re-sign TJ Watt at $40M/year into his mid-30’s. Steve hypothesized what a trade would look like for Watt, but he said it’s all about the dead money that would be involved in the deal. Steve broke down the play of Shedeur Sanders and if he has traits to make him a special player. The guys asked Steve which teams around the league are getting great results with a non-special QB and how he would rank some of the second tier QB prospects of this class. Steve explained to the guys why he thinks Jalen Milroe got invited to the draft this year. Is the ’26 QB class that much better than the ’25 class? Steve doesn’t think it’s a guarantee that Arch Manning declares for the ’26 draft. Steve is always in the mind of drafting a QB because it’s important to take shots.
