We also had some breaking baseball news with Pete Rose and Shoeless Joe Jackson being reinstated by Rob Manfred. How would the 2005 Pirates match up against this current team? Pirates broadcaster Greg Brown joined the show. Greg reacted to the big news from last week – the Pirates firing of Derek Shelton. Should Ben Cherington have followed him out the door? The guys asked Greg about the Pirates method to winning and why it’s failing miserably. How can Bryan Reynolds get out of his slump? Greg explained why the pile up of injuries have really hurt this team. Will we see Oneil Cruz tonight?
