HOUR 2 - Rodgers not sold, Steelers 'stench of desperation,' Bucco Auction House

The PM Team w/Poni & Mueller - A podcast by Audacy - Mercoledì

We are still waiting on Aaron Rodgers, but there could be some sort of deadline coming up when the Steelers have organized team workouts on the horizon. He probably doesn’t care about that, but where do the Steelers stand? Could the Saints be a new option for Rodgers because the NFC South is a more appealing division? The guys wondered if the voodoo in New Orleans would be attractive to Rodgers. Adam Schefter feels for Arthur Smith and other offensive coaches on the Steelers staff that are waiting around for this to end. The guys said Art Rooney can shut this down at any point, but it appears he’s on board with everything. We looked back at that Steelers-Jets game from last season that saw Russell Wilson greatly outplay Aaron Rodgers on a national stage. Rodgers also had everything handpicked for him last season and went 5-12 with the Jets. So, are we really feeling like this is the guy to get them over the hump? The guys think there is ‘stench of desperation’ surrounding the Steelers. It’s pretty clear Rodgers doesn’t want to be here. Bucco Auction House – Round 4.
