HOUR 1 - Russ to NYG, Calls, Tyler Kennedy

The PM Team w/Poni & Mueller - A podcast by Audacy - Venerdì

Russell Wilson has signed with the Giants. Now it’s a match between Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers. But when will it happen? It’s only a matter of time unless Rodgers decides to retire – or wait out another team. Do the Steelers really have another option here? We talked about the when the Rodgers thing became a real possibility. Are we officially on Aaron Rodgers watch? Do Steelers need to make a big trade on draft night? Former Penguin Tyler Kennedy joined the show. TK quickly said it was a ‘tough loss’ last night in Tampa, with the Pens falling 6-1. Chris and Tyler said the only big thing left for the Penguins this season is Sidney Crosby breaking a record held by Wayne Gretzky. Would it be better for Crosby to break that record in Buffalo tomorrow or at home this weekend? TK said he forgets often that Sid has been in the league for 20 years, besides noticing a little salt & pepper in the hair. Tyler said hockey is so engrained in Crosby that it is still probably all he thinks about. TK thinks Sid may have trouble not going to the rink every day once he does retire – adding that he doesn’t think that will be anytime soon. TK described the perfect hockey body and why Crosby has it. Tyler talked about getting older in the sport and how it impacts his speed on the ice.
