Meredith and Dr. Hayes grow closer and DeLuca tells Meredith their relationship is not over. Amelia tells Link that the baby might be Owens. Teddy lost her engagement ring which was swallowed by her baby. One patient swallows a blow fish, one patient deals with the risk of vaping, and another patient can't figure out what's going on with her. Tom finds out that Bailey has been absent due to her miscarriage. Richard tries to get Maggie to stop punishing herself and then later comes home to Catherine who tells him that his marriage is not fine.
