Inside our cells, we have DNA, and on your DNA are little wick-like caps called telomeres. The length of those wicks is the key to determining how quickly you’re aging. The shorter your telomeres, the more the aging. In today’s episode, Dr. Martin looks at two studies… one out of Ohio State University showing that high doses of DHA will not only protect your telomeres, but also help to lengthen them. The second study is about coffee… the true vitamin C as Dr. Martin refers to it. Coffee is a very powerful antioxidant and it actually protects your DNA.
