Ecclesiastes is this thought experiment on a much larger scale — What if someone who had it all tried to find the surest path to happiness in life? That's exactly what our anti-hero, Qoheleth, does; yet, in the end, he remains unsatisfied. And he's intent on convincing you of his conclusions that life is baffling, impermanent, and anxiety-inducing. But he also suggests that all that may not be as bad you think.
