Jazzer doesn’t think Jim should worry about getting a birthday present for Jade but Jim's keen to show Jade he approves of her. Jim meets Tracy to discuss the return of cricket matches. Tracy has brought back her cricket vlog to improve the fitness of the team. Jim’s phone beeps; it’s a gift suggestion from Jazzer – personalised pyjamas. Tracy suggests chocolates or smellies as a much safer bet. Later, Jazzer thanks Tracy for helping Jim select a gift for Jade. Tracy wishes them well – it’s nice to see a mate find someone they really like. Ben catches Emma after an earful from Jill about why she doesn’t want to be Chair of the Parish Council. Ben sniggers at councillors’ antics but Emma insists it’s no joke. Ben offers to try to persuade Jill to change her mind. At the meeting to vote for the interim PC Chair, Ben tells Emma he’s had no luck with Jill. Ben wants an excuse to leave, but Emma insists gleefully that all are welcome. Her mood darkens when she sees Hilary Noakes arrive. Emma and Jim are both stunned that Audrey has been voted interim Chair. Jim clocked the triumph on Hilary’s face – Audrey will be a terrible Chair and it’s only a matter of time before Hilary inveigles her way on to the council and goes for the position herself. Ben joins them, exhilarated by the meeting’s events – if they’d filmed it it could have gone viral. Jim fears there’s only yet more drama to come.
