Pat catches up with Kirsty while dropping off a yoghurt delivery to Grey Gables. Kirsty explains she’s not looking forward to her arranged prison visit to Philip tomorrow. Pat details the costume ideas Tony has for his part as an extra in The Ambridge Mystery Plays. Lynda walks in on their conversation and is horrified to learn Kirsty has been recruiting more extras. She wants Kirsty to tell them all that they are no longer required, and when Pat rings, Lynda says Kirsty can start with her. Pat’s got an idea for her own costume for the Mystery Plays. Kirsty thinks about sacking her but then decides against it. Martyn Gibson alerts Will to Mia protesting at the shoot. He insists Will gets rid of her right away. But when Will tries to get her to leave, Mia stands her ground. With Martyn ready to report Mia to the police, Stella steps in and offers to speak to her. Mia passionately expresses her stance to Stella who gently opposes her. Stella then points out how much stress Mia’s protest is causing Will which makes Mia think again. She doesn’t want to cause any trouble for Will so she decides to leave. Stella thanks her for listening and compliments her on her placard.
