The Archers - A podcast by BBC Radio 4

Categorie:

Pip’s fed up with Toby. He didn’t come straight to Rickyard last night after his shift, leaving her to worry that he wouldn’t be back in the morning to look after Rosie. And she’s having to steal bread from Brookfield because Toby never replaces what he finishes. She ends up apologising to Leonard for venting her frustrations at him. Later, Pip and Toby have another argument about how unreliable he can be. Toby also complains to Leonard about Pip’s bad habits and the downsides of cohabiting. Leonard can’t imagine how they’ll ever make it work, and neither can Toby. Jazzer’s fretting about Blake. He blames Martyn Gibson for destroying Blake’s trust in everyone, even Jazzer. Harrison promises to make enquiries. He’s pleased to discover Blake’s still at The Elms, not on the streets and vulnerable, as Jazzer feared. Blake asks Harrison to use his authority as a policeman to get Philip and Gavin out of prison. Harrison tries to nudge Blake towards giving evidence against the people he was sold to by Philip. Blake tries to strike a bargain. He’ll help Harrison stop “the bad ones”, if he can visit Philip in prison. Harrison knows this is a terrible idea, but treads carefully. Blake’s delighted when Harrison says he’ll find out if it’s possible. Harrison’s able to reassure Jazzer that Blake’s safe, but can’t say any more than that. Harrison’s left in an awful position.
