Kamora Freeland: One of the Youngest African American Female Pilots in the U.S.

Meet Kamora Freeland, an FAA-certificated private pilot who, at the age of 17, became one of the youngest African American female pilots in the United States. She was a dual-enrolled student, a member of the National Honor Society at Kingsborough Early College Secondary School and made the Dean’s List at Kingsborough Community College. Kamora graduated high school a year early and earned a Presidential Scholarship to attend Spelman College.
