This is the audio from our video here: https://youtu.be/EYVgr7NCYEY In this episode we are delighted to welcome Dave Gregory to the TPS studio. Dave has garnered much praise and respect for his work in British rock band XTC from 1979 to the late 1990s. Melodic, creative and always moving forwards, Dave’s playing inspired a whole generation of guitarists, not least a young and eager Australian with long, flowing blonde hair and a penchant for elaborate inversions. Yes, in a tale of ingenuity and daring, the Australian dreamt of leaving the endless sunshine, free-flowing beer and barbys so that he might be nearer to his hero. In Swindon. 10,000 miles and much alopecia later the Australian tracked down Gregory in Wiltshire and persuaded him to join his band, Tin Spirits, whereupon the fairytale was complete. He even asked him to be a guest on his YouTube channel along with a trio of Rickenbacker 12-strings, a Strat and an ES-335.   Well that’s one reading of it anyway.
