Ep. 277: Surviving Pancreatic Cancer

Spirit, Purpose & Energy - A podcast by JJ Flizanes - Martedì

In the last 33 years, Chris Joseph has started and managed three environmental consulting businesses, launched two fan-funded music record companies and founded a non-profit charitable foundation. He has also dabbled in philanthropy, songwriting and magazine writing, and he is currently studying for his real estate license. Chris is an LA native who lives in Santa Monica with his two teenage sons and loves to spend time with his longtime girlfriend Susie. Chris is a four-year, odds-defying, stage three pancreatic cancer survivor. That diagnosis introduced him to the dreaded “pity look” from others that caused deep shame, isolation and fear. Anyone who experiences a crisis or tragedy understands the look and questions if life will ever return to normal. Not knowing if he had time to wait, he took charge and created a “New Normal” … adopting practices that coupled his actions with a belief system that supported his survival. His new book, "Life is a Ride" shares how to make the “New Normal” a destination to thrive. http://lifeisaridebook.com https://www.facebook.com/chrisjosephInSantaMonica/ https://www.instagram.com/mrchrisjoseph/   Join the Inner Circle at the intro pricing! http://jjflizanes.com/innercircle   Get the NYE practice! http://jjflizanes.com/nye   JJ Flizanes is an Empowerment Strategist and the host of several podcasts including People’s Choice Awards nominee Spirit, Purpose & Energy.
