In this story Lady Elizabeth is unhappy about having to help out at the house since her father, the Earl, lost a lot of his money. She needs to clean and do shopping on her own and feels it in unfair. One day when she is shopping she buys a magic fish which she eats for dinner. That night before going to bed she gets a bit upset and makes a wish. When she wakes up some strange things start happening.
