Rain falls in South Australia "like a meal for a starving man"

Rain finally fell over the long weekend in some parts of South Australia with about 41 millimetres in the Mount Lofty Ranges and about 55 millimetres in Mount Gambier. In the first ten days of June the Mount Barker weather station has recorded 62.6mm of rainfall. It hasn't been enough to break the drought but it has been a ray of hope for some.
