The political deadlock in Tasmania is no closer to being broken. Premier Jeremy Rockliff visited Government House last night to ask Governor Barbara Baker for an early election but she says she will take her time to consider all options The request came after a successful no confidence motion in the Premier was called by Labor last week, which was supported by the Greens.
