Hey Full House Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I covered the final episode of The Break Up Double Feature, Full House: S7E19: Love On The Rocks, which aired on March 1, 1994. In this episode D.J. tells Becky that she is worried about her relationship with Steve after he goes to a film seminar for college in Los Angeles. She feels that they have been growing apart and their relationship has lost it's passion. Kimmy who is dating a guy named John who she refers to as Keanu (my guess is because of Keanu Reeves) also has opinions on DJ and Steve's relationship calling them boring. Andrea Barber has more kissing scenes in this episode than I can count on one hand. I remember in her book when she mentioned a guy that she had to kiss on the show that made her uncomfortable and she sought advice from Lori Loughlin on how to get through the scene. I think this is that guy she was referring to in her book because the only other guy she kissed on the show was Bitterman and that was back was in Season 3. I like how DJ asks Danny for advice especially since he just broke up with Vicki five episodes prior, he has good advice for her. I love their heart to heart moments. Joey kicks off April Fools Day early by setting every watch and clock in the house and not to mention the car radios and Jesse's pocket watch back 3 hours, so everyone wakes up at 5 a.m. instead of 8a.m. I would be majorly P.O.'d if he did that to me especially if I had to work in the morning or go to school. Danny even tells everyone who by btw is already dressed for the day "look on the bright side at least we can get a few more hours sleep" Who would be able to fall asleep after that, I wouldn't. What are they gonna do put their pajamas back on, sleep in the clothes they'll wear for the day. Yeah, right. They decide to get Joey back by taping a lottery drawing and getting those winning numbers and then switch out Joey's ticket and make him think he won the BIG jackpot. For years I didn't understand how this worked until it finally dawned on me, that's right you can pick and play your own numbers, you don't have to be forced to get random ones. Why this took so long for the lightbulb moment to go off, I'll never know. This reminds me of a Season 1 moment in Just One Of The Guys when Joey taped a Lakers Basketball Game on TV and made bets with Jesse until Stephanie ruined it by saying "Joey, you didn't know all this stuff when we watched the tape this morning." This episode was so hilarious and also heartbreaking. In the end DJ chooses herself but then in Season 8 she dates Nelson who she has zero chemistry with and Viper who I think is too old for her and too much like Season 1 Jesse not to mention I think he's, what 19 and she's 17, I can't see Danny being ok with her dating him. Also in Season 8 DJ's Choice she also ends things with Viper and Nelson by choosing herself. So what was the point of bringing Nelson and Viper on to the show. Have a great week everyone. I'll be back in April with an episode in honor of Candace Cameron Bure's Birthday. To EMAIL The Podcast Go To: [email protected]
