Happy Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I'm covering Full House S1E13: Sisterly Love, which aired on January 8, 1988. In this episode, Stephanie is chosen for the part in a TV commercial for which D.J. was auditioning. Joey after a visit to the doctor decides to cut out all junk food as it is revealed he has high cholesterol. This is the first episode of the SISTERS Double Feature PART 1. I really enjoyed this episode. I got some Who's The Boss, Judith Light as Angela Bower vibes with Vivian the casting director(and when I say vibes I just mean she resembled her a little with the big blond hair and giant 80's glasses) when DJ went to the audition. If I had to choose between DJ's audition and Stephanie's (not official audition, c'mon she was just having fun eating cereal). I'd go with Stephanie's. It was more entertaining to watch and less rehearsed sounding. Joey with the high cholesterol side story was hilarious as he tries to go as I say hard core full bore no junk food and forces himself to drink the nastiest puke-tastic protein shake I've ever seen. He even sneaks a burger and fries into Michelle's room to eat it when he really should of just sat in his car and ate it before entering the house, but hey, we get to see baby Michelle eat a french fry and that's totes adorable! Also in this episode we learn both DJ and Stephanie's middle names, Donna Jo Margaret (which Jesse is surprised to hear, which is odd being he's her Uncle and he was there the day she was born)and Stephanie Judith which we do hear Stephanie say that a few times over the course of the show. Also this is the first time ever we hear Stephanie's catchphrase "How Rude". I hope you all enjoy this episode and I'll be back with Full House S3E13: No More Mr. Dumb Guy, which aired on January 5, 1990. In this episode Jesse feels intellectually challenged after Becky invites him to escort her to the Festival of Cultural Arts. Jesse tries to cram for this event by listening to opera, hanging posters of Monet on his walls and reading the first and last pages of some big classic novels like A Tale Of Two Cities. With Joey giving him pointers like putting the tip of his glasses in his mouth and saying "interesting but terribly overrated.", how could this night not be a total disaster?
