Begin by finding a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down. Close your eyes gently and take a deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs with fresh air, and then slowly exhale through your mouth, releasing any tension or stress. Take a moment to acknowledge any anxious thoughts or feelings you may be experiencing. Remind yourself that this is your time for inner calm and peace. Now, bring your attention to your body. Notice any areas of tension or discomfort. With each breath, imagine a wave of relaxation washing over your body, soothing and releasing any physical tension. Allow your body to soften and relax with each exhale. Shift your focus to your breath. Feel the natural rhythm of your breath as it flows in and out of your body. Notice the sensation of the cool air entering your nostrils on the inhale, and the warm air leaving your body on the exhale. Let each breath bring you a sense of grounding and tranquility. As thoughts or worries arise, simply observe them without judgment and let them go. Return your attention to your breath, using it as an anchor to the present moment. Now, imagine yourself in a peaceful and safe place. It could be a quiet beach, a serene forest, or a cozy room. Visualize the surroundings in vivid detail—the sights, sounds, and smells that bring you comfort. Feel a sense of security and calmness in this space. Bring your awareness to your emotions. Notice any feelings of anxiety, fear, or unease that may be present within you. With each breath, imagine exhaling these negative emotions and inhaling a sense of peace and serenity. Visualize your anxiety dissipating, leaving you feeling calm and at ease. Now, repeat the following affirmations silently or out loud, allowing their reassuring words to resonate within you: "I release all anxiety and embrace inner calm." "I am safe and protected in this present moment." "I am in control of my thoughts and emotions." "I am capable of overcoming any challenges that come my way." "I am surrounded by love and support." Take a few more moments to rest in this state of relaxation and peace. When you are ready, gently bring your attention back to the present moment. Wiggle your fingers and toes, stretch your body, and open your eyes. Remember, you can revisit this meditation whenever you need to find a moment of calm amidst anxiety. May you carry this sense of tranquility with you throughout your day. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
