The human toll of USAID cuts

Supporters of the U.S. Agency for International Development are heading to Capitol Hill today to lobby lawmakers. The cutting of budgets and jobs at USAID has derailed aid programs globally. Aid groups say even life-saving humanitarian programs the State Department had promised to protect are faltering. Children, especially, could suffer.
