This week on the Live to Walk Again Podcast we were lucky enough to speak with Annalisa and John Squires who are in interabled couple who are the owners and operators of Rolling in Paradise, an adaptive equipment business in Southwest Florida. John told us how he was injured at 15 years old, how he got heavily involved in adaptive sports from hand cycling to quad rugby, and how/when they started Rolling in Paradise. We also discussed the impact of being able to work with a 100% disabled owned business to buy adaptive equipment when most of the other companies that supply these tools are large corporations and the community their building with helping people find peer support after suffering SCI and grants to help pay for some of these adaptive devices.
