HT1177 - Allocating Our Creative Thought

A friend of mine just recently returned from a workshop in which he was the only photographer using a digital camera. All the other participants were using 4x5 film. He confessed this was the first time he'd spent so much time with film photographers. One observation he came away with was how much effort and thought went into how to expose and develop the film compared to the relative ease with which he could accomplish the same thing with his digital tools.
