Geopolitics: An Exceptional Lecture in Geopolitics by Niall Fraguson and Romano Prodi

The Inglorious Globastards season 2023-24 starts with two exceptional guests, Prof. Niall Ferguson, Senior Fellow at the #Hoover Institution and President Romano Prodi, twice Italian Prime Minister and former President of the European Commission. They will give us their views on Transatlantic relationships and the world after the invasion of #Ukraine. The invasion of a sovereign country in #europe has rekindled the horrors that we thought would never take place again. The veneer of a world order based on mutually agreed rules has been brutally pierced. The #EU institutions seem frozen and unable to devise a common defense policy, while in the US the isolationist insticts are gaining support among the public.
