In this episode I talk to Series Producer and Exec Producer Barry Hecker.Barry has been working in TV for over 20 years and quickly worked his way up the ladder as a director, having made the switch from the corporate world. He has worked on a wide variety of productions, from directing & producing three series of Sam & Shauna's Big Cookout, creating many inserts for The One Show, series producing fast turn-around docs such as Sinkholes for channel 5, to the science documentary Charlotte Church – Inside my Brain which was nominated for two Bafta Cymrus & Mind Media Awards in 2018.In this episode, we talk about how he got started in the business, his early projects and how he rose up the ranks to where he is now, creating television that is watched by millions.
