Trafficked, Recovered, Redeemed

I, Survivor - A podcast by Wondery - Lunedì

When Jasmine Grace Marino was 18, her boyfriend forced her into the dark world of sex trafficking. Alicia Molina first started using drugs and alcohol when she was 13. She’s now 5 years sober. Sex trafficking and addiction are both stigmatized as individual failures, rather than reflections on our society. So here’s your weekly/daily/hourly reminder that they (and you, if you’re in similar situations) did not do anything wrong. These women were lucky to find ways out, and if you’re struggling we hope the same for you. If you know someone who you think may be a victim of human trafficking, you can call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888. These are anonymous tips, but they are also very serious so don’t report if you don’t mean it. Links from the episode: The National Human Trafficking Hotline, online! You can read more about Jasmine Grace’s story online or in her book! Are you hiring? You should be using ZipRecruiter! It's the smartest way to hire.
