Melkizadek: Priest King of Superior Order [Hebrews 7:4-10]

What do the tithes given to Melchizadek have to do with modern-day followers of Christ?  The author of Hebrews is not making an appeal for giving, so what is the purpose of this narrative? Why even bring it up?  In this teaching, Pastor Nathan points again to the image of Jesus seen in the person of Melchizedek.
