Brendon James is a lyricist/wordsmith from Virginia Beach, VA, who has been writing rhymes and consistently working to perfect his craft since the age of 12. He performed at Williams Farm Rec for The Youth Hip Hop Program as a teen. He has been featured on cloneinfluence.com and nominated for most entertaining interview on Endie Fiya Radio in 2019. Heavily influenced by rappers such as illmac, Conway The Machine, Eminem, StylesP, Jadakiss, G-Eazy, Dave East, JayZ, and many well known and respected lyricists. After little success on SoundCloud, Brendon made his return to Spotify and other DSPs in Feburary 2020 to then sky rocket his streams and collect more royalties than he ever has his whole music career. Despite having more streams than the majority of artists in Va, he is still not as respected as many other local talent or bigger known rappers regardless of how hard he works on his craft, but that doesnt stop his grind nor his sharp rhyme skills. No matter the criticism, he will still have the same confidence in his music and considers himself an elite MC in his Hometown and continues to outwork and out rhyme everybody put in his path. 2020 has seemed to have been a turn for the better for Brendon considering he temporararily retired after his 12th project in 2019, until he got a job to support his music. Soon enough Brendon dropped his first project of the year The Brendon James LP, which only made him want to push harder and beat his record of 12 projects releasing 2 projects in March, 3 in April, and currently 2 in May. Despite all the content being released he still decided to make his return to his most influential interview show to promote his music, talk success, and give local talent a wake up call.
