Brendon James is a young up and coming lyricist from Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is well known for his witty word play, sharp lyricism, hard hitting punchlines, and competitive nature. Brendon has been majorly influenced by rappers such as Bobby Bucher, illmaculate, OnlyOne, Skyzoo, Conway the machine, Stylesp, Joe Budden, and many more. Brendon has a reputation for dissing and wanting to battle other local MCs in search of competition and lyrical warfare. However due to his skill, not many rappers have been willing to challenge him yet hes often bashed or called trash by the masses despite his consistency and hard work. In 2018, Brendon put out 7 projects in a matter of 2 months. This year, he has released 9 projects and is currently working on his 10th entitled ''Middle School Memories''. Brendon first started writing in the fall of 2012 in 7th grade in attempts to impress a girl which turned into a hobby he constantly worked at and ended up performing at his middle school dance.  Brendon also has his own series called ‘’Hearteyes and Raw Vibes’ Vol 1-4 which is a project full of mostly raw emotions, romantic songs, and real talk. In 2018, Brendon was diagnosed with Bipolar one disorder which plays a factor in his creative ability and his music which he deeply speaks on his song Excelsior talking about his 2 trips to mental hospitals. Brendon doesn’t just only listen to rap music some of his favorite bands growing up were Linkin Park, Rise Against, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Sum41, Chevelle, Paramore, Saves the Day, and many more. His favorite artists range from Drake, Tory Lanez, Elliot Yamin, Maroon 5, G-eazy, and Mac Miller, just to name a few. In his spare time he’s often found playing video games, working out, or spending time with family if he’s not writing or recording.
