Dads with Children: Developing Emotional Intelligence
Dope Black Dads Podcast - A podcast by Dope Black Dads Podcast

This year on the podcast we're bringing in a variety of Dads at different stages of fatherhood to share their stories, experiences and learnings from being a Dad. This week we welcome Stephen Ismail Thomas who teaches mindfulness to primary and secondary school children, Sam Olagbaju who works with young offenders and Dare Dario, who each have children that are aged 5 - 12. Together they discuss how to develop emotional intelligence in your kids, teaching them how to be their own person and not bow down to peer pressure, as well as teaching our children how to understand their moods and emotions and being socially aware. Dope Black Dads is place where we are changing the narrative and having progressive conversations about black fathers, as well as creating a safe digital space for the community.
