Dads with Children: Being Present at Your Child's School

Dope Black Dads Podcast - A podcast by Dope Black Dads Podcast

Having a presence at your child's school is a responsibility that has to be shared between both parents and is not solely the responsibility of the mother. Very often black Dads are given a negative perception in school life and it's very important that as Black Dads we are present, contribute and are active in our child's school life. Sam, Stephen and Dare are back to discuss the challenges they have faced with their children's schools, how they overcame them and how we can make sure our child is happy and comfortable at school, at the most vital stages of their development. Dope Black Dads is place where we are changing the narrative and having progressive conversations about black fathers, as well as creating a safe digital space for the community.    Join the conversation and community online through our social channels:   Twitter: @DopeBlackDads Instagram: @DopeBlackDads Facebook Page: @DopeBlackDads  If you want to get in touch with us, email us on [email protected] or follow our conversations in depth in our private Facebook Group by searching “Dope Black Dads”
