[CONTAINER PODCAST] [06] [LIUS] Dj and multimedia artist, bonded to experimental theatre and installation, very interested and operating in the field of the avant-garde art, Lius promotes and organised events characterised by international artists involved with electronic music. Beside being the head manager of The Zone, Lius together with Ampetek and Dj Mat is the creator of The Zone. [The-Zone History] Radio program was officially founded in 2002 by Alessandro aka Marenga Amptek collaboration with Lius, from 2004-2005, the formation of The-Zone is officially composed by Mat & Lius, both authors and presenters of the show. After almost a decade in which it has been “the lighthouse of radio stations” for the electronic music turned to dance scene in Rome, Italy and not only, supporting and promoting hundreds of artists and labels, The-Zone since 2010 has also become Label The-Zone Records was born with the same purpose of the radio programme, which aims to promote the sound of the best established and emergent artists through the realization of sheer releases, that will permit to the sound of The-Zone to get out of the radio and spread his label all over the world. The-Zone artists have been selected through all the radio experience that The-Zone acquired during these years, also with the events where The-Zone have taken part in as organizer or as media support. Our label was born neither for the need of a producer nor for any other commercial goal, but it comes from the wish to represent Italy abroad as an international label and also to spread the sound of the artists which sustained The-Zone till now. From 2010 to the present many names, among the best ever, have teamed up with The-Zone: The Advent, Aux88, Debonaire, Audio Injection, Space Djz, Samuli Kemppi, Axel Karakasis, Hugo Paixao, Alejandro Trebor and many young talents who are emerging around the world, including the young Italian as Knobs, Logotech, Gymmy-J, Angy Kore, Frankie Serious and many others From Techno (predominant genre label) to wonderful goodies Electro and beyond. From the names of the first (almost) 40 release in digital, vinyl and future, you can already guess how the world of The-Zone Records is, and will be, as varied as in recent years it has been the radio program, always aiming the dance scene but also to the quality of production and its artists.
