In this episode of Breaking Doctrine, our host, Major Chris Parker discusses the Army leadership and leader assessment, from both a doctrinal and institutional perspective. There have been several updates on both fronts over the past two years. The Army has begun the Battalion Commander Assessment Program, or BCAP, the Colonel Command Assessment Program, or CCAP. In addition, the Center for Army Profession and Leadership, or CAPL, has refined Project Athena, a career long leader assessment and self-development tool.
