DANNY PELLEGRINO (An "Iconic" Interview")
BEHIND THE VELVET ROPE - A podcast by David Yontef
Categorie:
Everything Iconic Podcast Host Danny Pellegrino Stepped Behind The Rope earlier this year. Today, we bring you this Iconic sit down chat. Originally from Ohio, Danny headed west to sunny Los Angeles in order to pursue his dreams of “making it” in comedy. We would say he’s done a pretty damn good job of achieving those dreams. David & Danny immediately bond over their love of Cary Deuber. Yup, that is outta left field, isn’t it? They also bond over their love of The Countess, as in Luann, and Leah, as in McSweeney. The Real Housewives of New York City is Danny’s favorite franchise, we agree, and Ramona Singer is his favorite housewife, we kinda have to agree again. Are these two separated at birth? David & Danny also debate their love, or lack thereof, for The Hills, The View, Jennifer Love Hewitt, & Very Cavallari (RIP). No, they don’t agree on all of these important topics, but thats okay. Danny details what is was like to work with Legends Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix to write the classic Fancy AF Cocktails. As if that wasn't enough, Danny discusses what it was like to host several panels at Bravocon and his "fan girl moment” from the weekend. Married To Medicine Cast we are talking to you. Danny also discusses how he started his “Iconic Podcast”, his “side job” as ghost writer, and his best and worst interviews he has ever conducted, which Housewives he would like to see back and what he thought about two shows which had out of the ordinary drama these past seasons: Vanderpump Rules and Shahs of Sunset. On a serious note, Danny is forthcoming in sharing his struggles with mental health and what he wants people to know regarding such issues. A jam packed interview not to be missed on today's Behind The Velvet Rope.
