The 1865 Forest Ramble is part of the Fan Hub Network - where fans come first. After a great, but pointless performance against Swansea midweek, Forest earned three points that they might not have deserved against Blackburn. In the end they were indebted to Brice Samba for saving Adam Armstrong's penalty, but it shouldn't have come to that - Samba and Knockaert didn't cover themselves in glory when they conceded the spot-kick. It's also worth noting that Forest did have more chances; Knockaert combined well with Murray and had an effort cleared off the line, the veteran striker also could have scored in the first half, and his replacement Lyle Taylor couldn't convert when Cyrus Christie's shot came back off the post. Armstrong had hit the post with a long-ranger in the first half as well, but the key intervention was Alex Mighten's deflected effort - it was a bit lucky, but if you don't shoot... Baz reports after a good three points for the Reds. Like what you hear? Subscribe via your podcast provider, and please leave a review, as it helps other Forest supporters find our content.
