If your internal beliefs don't line up with your actions and what you WANT - there will always be a "helpless" feel of struggle. its like a child learning to walk.  first you must learn to crawl, fall, crawl, fall - walk, crawl, fall, until you can walk. and then you can run before you fall and get back up again. but once you can do that, you can then go onto other things like climbing a couch, digging into the playdough and sticking your hand in a fish tank. You unlocked a new level where you now have to learn what you can and cant do and the process continues - much like how you start off your health and fitness journey. You can have the "perfect" diet and training, but how can you expect to stick to it if you haven't yet done the "un-sexy" ground work of getting to know these values and beliefs that hold you back? Of digging into what it is that you need to drive you forward even when shit gets tough! Because you have to develop the GRIT, you have to stick it through the hard stuff and do uncomfortable things without giving in at the first sign of struggle!! You need to push through the dip to get to where you want to be - be it if you are heading in the right direction and not something that's going to cost more than its worth in the end. But you, your LONGTERM HEALTH & FITNESS - you are worth it. YOU CAN DO HARD THINGS. You just have to unlearn all the dysfunctional patterns in favour of ones that SERVE YOU & act as a spring board for even more to come - on your journey of becoming your BEST you!
